i just went to the grocery store, the temp here today is at 99 degrees, with the heat index it could be well over 100...

i parked the car and the kids and i get out to go to the store, and i see this adorable beagle sitting in a car WITH THE WINDOWS CRACKED NO MORE THAN 2 INCHES i swear !!!!! to make matters worse, the dog had a muzzle on he looked sooooo sad

so, we stood there for a minute looking around to see if we saw anyone comming back to the car.... then we walked into the store, and found the manager... that took a few minutes... then he got someone to go outside to get the license plate number from the car - he forgot to ask the model, so the guy ran BACK out to check that. they paged the owner, now, about 10-15 minutes had gone by at this point...

the woman walks up to the manager and asks whats wrong :disturbed: he tells her its in reference to the dog and this stupid bitch says, im on my way out now.

something just came over me and i was screaming, DO YOU KNOW IT TAKES ABOUT 10 - 20 MINUTES TO KILL YOUR DOG IN THAT CAR ????? i asked her what kind of freak does that shit to their animal ???

i was less than quiet about it but damn, how freaking stupid do you have to be

anyway, she got all pissy with me, and said she was only in there for 3 minutes... yeah, RIGHT !! like i dont know i have been there trying to help the damn dog for well over that....

This kind of thing makes me just as angry and upset as it did you, and I agree with thescandalouslife - people like that woman don't deserve to own pets. this particular incident today you went through really hits home with me too because I had a beagle when I was a kid.

It makes me very, very sad to realize that people like that woman own animals.

But I am glad there are people like you out there that are willing to stand up for those animals when they see them put into dangerous situations like the one you witnessed today. You should be proud that you stood up for that little dog.

I don't think it can be said enough how idiotic this woman was and what a horrible lack of wisdom she displayed, seeing acts like this makes one really hate people. She may be a nice person otherwise but damn if this particular incident doesn't paint her as a ignorant witch. Good for you NP for standing up to her and taking some action, you have nothing to feel guilty about.
