oh, we always had a color TV, but my family could be kinda geeky with the new gadgets....my grandma had a big clunky microwave oven when i was a little tyke. it was scary. what's even scarier is that she still uses the thing. eek

my dad had a video camera where he had to lug around the VCR with a shoulder strap! The remote had a cord. disbelief come to think of it, our first colour TV had a sonic remote instead of infra-red, it used to drive the cats crazy eek

To us she's old fashioned. To some folks her age she's advanced. But dial up does suck unless you have a lil sumfin to do while you wait. blunt

when i had dial-up i used to go outside and have a smoke while i was waiting for the homepage to load. lol

ya know how did people make homepages with all kinds of heavy gif and annoying pics on win95? i remember pages like that on dialup took like 12 hrs to load.
