Diet pop is only better for you in the way that it doesnt have any/or as many calories but it still is NOT healthy for you!! Drink water, iced tea with honey, or 100% fruit juice instead. LEAVE ALL POP ALONE!

nakedpianoplayer said: i changed to diet coke about a year ago... seriously, i probably drink about a 6 pack a day (or more ), so that cuts out about 840 or more calories a day .... and yes, there has been a change in my weight
dang, now that's a lot of soda. normally, i just have one or two cans of diet soda a day. lately i've been swilling the stuff, though - it's been so hot, i've been drinking 3 or 4 cans, PLUS i've been drinking water like it's going out of style. when it gets really hot in the summer, i'll empty out a refrigerator of everything liquid in it, carbonated or no.

This is how I have been able to maintain my ideal weight. interesting. i'm trying to get back on my yerba mate kick - it's great because it gives me energy without giving me the caffeine jitters, it's full of vitamins, and it's an appetite suppressant as well. when i drink this stuff regularly, the weight goes way down. I was sure it also contained caffeine my Argentinian husband drinks it, we have a 2kg bag in the cupboard. Soda? Gives me the runs if I have a glass with dinner. Surefire weightLOSS for me

it can be hard 2 cut back/quit drinking soda because its everywhere...its very convenient...quick and easy...and it is pretty good
i gave up soda 4 lent this year...that was soooo hard because thats all there is (besides water) at the house 2 drink..but as soon as lent was over i went back 2 having a can or 2 (maybe a little more) each day a few months ago i decided 2 cut back on my soda and drink more water...now im down 2 about a soda a week...and up 2 about 6-8 bottles of water a day...but i have yet 2 notice any difference in my energy or weight...not that thats what i was going 4 "...took my sex and my money...took all my self esteem...had the nerve 2 think it was funny...i never knew a bitch so mean"
