It's been hot all day.

Now there is a biggie storm starting up. Mmmmmm the smell of rain

I only have a rain machine that simulates the sound of a rainstorm...

Oh, tell me about it. It's the rainy season here. It rained all day yesterday.

The rain will cool off the heat.

As long as it's not really windy outside I love to go out on the balcony when it rains and just watch the rain come down off the roof and into the yard below. It smells gorgeous here when it rains, and while it's still warm, it's pretty mild for Thailand. It's when it doesn't stop all day that it gets a bit much.

Well, I'm not sure about that. We do live in a suburb of Bangkok remember, although it's certainly not in the city as such and there's a lot of greenery. I imagine the air is pretty clean, since Bangkok in general is a lot better than it was a few years back for pollution, but it's not like being out in the countryside.
