Was There Ever Times That You Never Wanted To Watch CableTV Again? Apart from American Football (NFL) I don't believe that I ever really miss having a TV in my house, let alone cableTV.
My Computer (with internet service via cable modem) replace a lot of TV (IMHO). Or further more, I'll just read a good book. Or I'll listening the internet radio & even my CDs/DVDs. So what's your take?

I have three TVs... why... well I don't know. I almost never watch TV... after I long ago make the choice to limit my media influence in the ways that I can. ~Smile.
Music is always going... although even music can influence one's mind and the thoughts that one can think. I use to read so much more than I have lately. With some changes as of late... and plenty of positive moments... I have bought several magazines and books that reflect my chosen focus and personal way of life. ~Eating Well ~Plenty (great new magazine... I am going to subscribe to it) ~What is Enlightenment (interesting) ~Outside Reading is definitely a favorite past-time of mine... I can never read/learn enough. A good movie is great as well. However I have no clue to current sitcoms... or really any programs that are out. I can do without a TV, easily.

I don't know if it's really an American guy thing, but trying to give up the NFL is tough. But I still want to get to a point that I don't need TV, easily. [Edited 7/30/05 13:41pm]

I just lost cable for 27 hours. Some dumbass on our street may have cut the block's cable when they were mowing the grass. It was the longest, most excrutiating 27 hours I have had in recent memory. My wife and I called the cable company about 10 times and we did dances of joy when someone came and finally fixed it.
So to answer your question, I like cable just fine, thanks! All good things they say never last...

What kind of tractor was this? Probably a John Deere...as if there were any other kind. Actually, it was just a regular old mower. It was either the Canadian guy who lives across the street or the woman who is always on her cell phone while she walks her big-ass chow up and down the street (we think she has got a 1-800 sex thing going but we cannot prove it. Everybody in the neighborhood is always mowing the damn grass. Except for us...I get to it when I can get to it. Just watch the cable wires, people! All good things they say never last...
