NEW YORK, NEW YOOOOORK!

the car is packed, and we are scheduled to leave shortly.

we are taking a nice leaisurely drive up the coast, stopping at schlitterbahn in austin, savannah georgia (we all loved "midnight in the garden of good and evil"), my hosts' hometown of atlanta, my aunt's place in nashville, etc.

so i won't be on for probably the next week untill we actually are home in brooklyn (YAY), but send some prayers/good thoughts/ect my way if you think of it.

YAY YAY MOTHERFUCKING YAYAYAYAAYYAYAY!

OH! i almost forgot:

the best news yet... for those that remembere, last july was hell on wheels for me and my family, when my brother and sister-in-law went in to labor with their first child, only to find that as soon as she started labor, the baby (Levi) was strangled by the umbilical cord..

aaron and heidi (my brother and sister-in-law) invited me out to dinner last night, and said they were going to wait and tell me next month when they tell everyone else at a big meeting of both families dinner, and then handed me a picture from the sonogram they just got.

they're pregnant again

i was the last person to hold levi before the coroner took him, and the first to know about the new baby, which she thinks is a girl.

i cried so hard it was embarrasing, and it was the moment i most felt the presence of god in my life.

it's a wonderful life.
