I remember the comics being much better too.

Plus, when I found out Kevin Richardson (Backstreet Boy fuckhead) was in one of the suits it lost something for me.

Oh and by the way...hi Nik.

biggrin

(The arcade game was much much better than the movie by the way.)

Little corection: Kevin was not in any of the movies, he was a Turtle at Disneyworld. No need to hate on the TMNT movies because of that. geek

It's more of an excuse to hate on the Backstreet Boys as much as possible.

Bet you were one of those twats that spent time, energy, and bandwidth on a "BSB sucks" site, weren't you? wink

I can understand people not liking a certain act, but what I can't understand is when those people go out of their way to look for excuses to hate on them.

Turning a TMNT thread into an excuse for boyband-bashing. disbelief Aside from the vague Kevin connection, one has nothing to do with another. You're not going to turn everything that's vaguely connected in some way into a chance to insult a pop act, are you? Wait -BSB are Prince fans! Quick! Better run to every thread in the M&M forum and turn them into boyband-bashing threads before someone steals the opportunity from you!

Thought the movie was average, & thought the soundtrack was outstanding (as you know, since you started a thread about that soundtrack & the Partners in Kryme song in particular. lol)

Whole soundtrack rocked tho'. headbang

Never made a boyband, or any other band website.

Maybe your energy spent on lecturing would be better spent lightening the fuck up?

Perhaps?

Sometimes it's all just random comments-although I'm sure the boybands of the world appreciate your kind support.

Yeah, I remember u on that thread. That soundtrack sounds so out of date, that it would actually sound new to most people, as that sorta synthy pop was very US and only lasted about a year.

U gotta hear Spunkadelic "9.95". Love that song to death, aswell as "let the wallas come down" by johnny kemp and the st paul ballad. I love it all. End of lol

They even say "9.95" at the end of the first movie.

I'll make that hammer movie for u one day soon. If u still want it

At one point, I had all 3 movies on VHS.

I now have the first one on DVD. Dunno if I'll ever get the second one, but I want the third one.

I think the first one is by far the best. I dont mind the second one, and some good himour was provided by the villains silly sidekicks, but the dart atmosphere was lost a bit more. Too kiddie. But the club scene with vanilla ice kicks ass. Hate the song, but its such a stupid scene lol

A cult music shop has the poster to the second one and it has vanilla ice in a bubble saying something like "go ninja go". It is a huge poster. Very ironic to see it in that sorta store. I want that poster. It is HUGE.

I got all 3 of them on cd. So I do indeed own "ninja rap". Some good tracks again on the second cd.

eek

Electronic music was in its prime! New genres popping up all over the place and most of them were pretty damn interesting...

.

i'm thinking more about gumbi hair and people dancing around in oversized t-shirts and stirrup pants.

U were like where Iam now. Though iam even more depressed by the media in general these days. I use to listen to modern music, but not now lol

For u, I can see ur pain back then (maybe). If u were in UK then, u woulda felt worse by the music scene proberly. Newjack (ie bel bive devoe, hammer et all) didn't break in UK.
