Don't do it!

You'll become addicted!

And it will suck all your money!

It happened to me!

Don't let it happen to you!

as far as stuff i make at home, i prefer trader joe's beans over starbucks'.

but when i need a stiff hit of the hard stuff, i'll admit it: a big cuppa starbucks does the trick every time.

I buy way too many latte's every week.

I mean fuck, she even gassed me into buying one of those starbucks cards that I put money on every month.

She's worse than a really hot girl that works at the gym. At least with her, you go to the gym.

This one, all she does is give me calories.

i usually get plain ol' black coffee when i go to starbucks, except for recently, as i've come down with a nasty green tea frappo addiction. i can't get with all those prefixes and adjectives just to order a damn coffee.

if you like coffee and you can condition yourself to take a travel mug of something you like to make at home, don't bother. it's just easier for me, being i'm lazy and that my commute is a 15 minute train ride and there are starbucks on every corner in chicago. shrug

That reminds me of this time I was in line for a chai tea before work one morning. This middle-aged suburban woman was in line behind me all wide eyed and in awe of being in 'the big city' and decided to tell me all about how she'd never been to a Starbucks before, asked me what I thought she should order, all that. You'd think she was waiting in line for Disneyland.
