I'm so tired of Alias...

I was such a fan of this show during the first two seasons, and I stuck it out with 'em over the third...this last season, though, I dunno. They lost me.

And I just read that they're going to be working Jennifer Garner's pregnancy into the plot next season, and having her mentor a nubile young spy babe so there'll still be hot she-spy action. rolleyes

I miss the days of crayon red wigs and cheesy techno music. Feh.

I was wondering when the magic glitter would wear off on that show.

I TRIED watching it...tried. We like the same stuff...so with your recommendations...I tried and gave it my best.

My two problems were when I wanted to watch...my friend's bf would change it (as he didn't even like that we were watching Lost) to anything BUT alias. And there were moments I felt i could maybe just watch it or tape it at another time. It was sort of like a female James Bond for me. But it was hard to get into with her father ...and then her sister...and her boyfriend. I think it had too many personal relation ships that were fueling the stories and it was a hard follow even when I tried to catch it for a bit.

She had sass, I'll give her that.

Yeah, but it was fun campy crap for the first couple of seasons. I always wanted an action spy show starring a drag queen and it came damn close there at first! nod

I figure throwing a cheesy rave party has gotta become the new vintage fun thing to do one of these days (a la disco parties, 80's parties, etc.). I've got some platform sneakers just waiting.

oh and I just have to say...I am feeling the SAME way about the TV show 24. I may watch like the first show of next season and weigh in the watchability factor.

i TOTALLY fell off with 24 last year, too! i might try to watch the DVDs of last season - the episodes i didn't see, anyway - but it was just getting to be too much of a parody of itself, i felt.

you know, come to think of it, maybe j.j. abrams knew the show was going to be compromised at some point, and that's why he decided to have the good guys bring down sd6 in the second season. you get the big moment of closure out of the way, and then you let the network and the star muck up your series as much as they want until it gets canceled. hmmm
