i think there should definitely be two options available - plans for those who wanna do all the cool touristy stuff like the statue of liberty and whatnot, and plans for those who have done that and don't necessarily wanna do it again.
and, of course, stuff for us ALL to do together. ONE thing i suggest is dancing at pyramid club on friday night at their 1984 party (which i believe is still going on - help me out here, NWF), which is all 80s music, all night! i can also put together a full-on wrecka stow tour of greenwich village for anyone who's interested in going on an all-afternoon record shopping binge. i still know all the hotspots! i don't know about niagra falls...that might be a bit of an undertaking, and it's certainly not going to make for a snappy daytrip. maybe if you came out a couple days early you could fit it in? there's always the cloisters, which is much closer, and of course there's always central park, which is always lovely. lots of restaurants and grocers sell pre-made picnic baskets. maybe we could all pick something up at gourmet garage and have an org picnic at central park? or if it's cold out, there are of course only about a kajillion places to eat.

The "multiple-choice" idea sounds great.
I'm sure many people want to take advantage of the incredible tourist sites that NYC has to offer...while some of us have "been there, done that" too many times already. The "wreka stow" tour sounds great! I haven't been to Revolver Records since...I think...1996? By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!
