One of my fave films:

Much maligned, but I love it, and it touches me.

...As does this beauty of a film! touched

One of the greatest thrillers ever made:

You'll be on the edge of your seat throught.

Don't you know me Kansas City? I'm the new Berlin Wall - TRY & TEAR ME DOWN!

Fun, fun, fun...

Probably the blackest comedy I've ever seen. These people's lives are so pathetic you can't help but laugh at them
"Honey, we're not laughin at you - we're laughing with you"
"...but I wasn't laughing..."
lol

Also worth it for Philip Seymour Hoffman - one of the best actors around today.

If you like stories with twists in the tail ala 'Twilight Zone', this is for you - very creepy, and really different.

Ray Wise is fantastic in this.

What can be said about this classic that hasn't already been said?

Still looks stunning even today - 20+ years on

Cracking film! (be sure to grab the extended 'Untitled' version)

and last but not least, my fave film of all time: Baraka.
This has to be seen to be believed - at least once in your life.
You've never seen anything like it - I guarantee it will mesmerise you.

Betty Blue...As well as providing a narrative that may be read and interpreted on several levels, _Betty Blue_ is an exceptionally beautiful film in terms of cinematography and mise en scene. Colour is used to breathtaking effect - the blue floors of the piano shop, the yellow car, the yellow lighting which makes it seem as though, regardless of time, it's always afternoon twilight. Landscapes, city scenes, interiors are all set up and filmed beautifully.. smile

...and you get to see her bush. lol

I'd suggest you give the following a try (bit of something for everyone)
