Hello! Just real quickly- Drew is out of ICU! They moved him yesterday and he is doing well. I spent the night with him lastnight. We had fried chicken and watched TV. We both slept really hard and well- it was nice sleeping to his breathing. I slept harder, longer, and better lastnight than the past week. Drew's only problem is his memory of the last week. He's coming around- it's clicking that he is in the hospital, but sometimes he doesn't know that he is, or he does but not which hospital. A speech therapist had a 3 page list of questions- simple, problem solving, fill in the blank, etc and he did great! I was doing the test with him in my head and he was as sharp (if not better) than me. Drew is very witty and he cracked up his therapist with his answers. Therapist said he did great, his doctor said that this was normal. He will stay at the hospital a few more days, his memory being their focus. I'm very proud of him- no one knows him like I do and even when he gets confused, I still know what he's talking about and where he is pulling it from. Gotta go- I'm so busy! Just know that all's cool!
