Is this a REAL reality tv show on Mtv? It looks sooo fake, but my friend swears that it's real life. I thought maybe it was a fake "reality show" to put a spin on things...but mtv says it's real. I just don't want to believe it! It's edited so much that it makes it look like a bad soap opera! WTF???

I live right next to Laguna Beach and I know about the show. Don't get the wrong idea, the city of Laguna is actually one of the nicest cities in Cali! The locals I know that live there are mellow and love their city and the scenery is to die for!

Laguna is a lot "nicer" than most beach towns. Newport bitch, now that city is full of twats for sure

i read it was a reality show made in contrast to the show OC on fox...it was orginally called "Laguna beach the real oc" or something like that. its a pretty dull show compared to the oc tho'.
