Alone at the beach with perfect weather and clear water.
Lunch at a pizzaria in St Armand's circle by myself with a crossword puzzle in hand.
Drive home in my car with the windows rolled down and the sunroof oopen listening to my new Steve lawler CD.
Going to Busch Gardens at night to ride the Shiekra a few times and buy some of their awesome Cappacino Fudge.
Driving back to the beach and watching the water at night, reflecting on this momment. Giving Thanks.
Driving home and sleeping.

Sounds kind of lonely actually, but it's what I'd want to do the most right now.

good food and family/friends ...alittle alone time and some private time with my man ... time to enjoy my animals and the nature that surrounds my home ... i try each day to make it such though

ummm... tough to say. It's not often a topic of discussion for me. I kind of have my own definition of spirituality for myself. To put it in terms easier to understand I suppose I'd consider myself a romantic atheistic agnostic humanist. lol. I could go on to explain, but it would take paragraphs and anyway, I don't know I've ever met anyone who's beliefs are similar. I will say, I have met several people who find the same spirituality in music that I do. The intense euphoria of experiencing the perfect live show... I've met many a person who 'gets' it on the same level I do.

I enjoy the company of others, yet I enjoy my alone time too. I've also found myself feeling near ultimate despair in both situations as well. For me, peace comes from within and I've found a few true moments of peace within both contexts.

Since I can't imagine a perfect day today (hot, humid weather be damned!) I'll describe what I used to call my 'favorite day'. When I was living in downtown Mpls and still working occasional weekends, when I'd have a weekday off I'd do this with my day and I LOVED it. I'd sleep in, take time getting ready in the morning, selecting a cute, comfy outfit. I'd set off to walk downtown, through Loring Greenway (pretty green space in downtown) with some favorite CDs and headphones in tow. I'd usually window shop for a while, sometimes stop into Let It Be and look for CDs. I'd stop somewhere for a nice light lunch (had several favorites to go to), then head to the bookstore. I'd usually spend about an hour or so browsing and pick up a book (or 3) and then head to the coffee chop on Nicollet Mall. I'd get a nice cup of coffee and sit outside, reading, text messaging a friend of mine to tease him at work, and writing in my journal. From there I'd wander down to Peavey Plaza with its outside fountain and people watch for a while. Then I'd wander back to Loring Park towards my house and walk around the park for a while and then pull up a nice piece of grass and write or read more. I miss those days. I need to come up with a new favorite day soon.

nope. Of course I always notice when I identify with certain characters, but I can't think of one that overwhelming seemed just like me.

If I'm being honest, a little of both. In general I'd say it excites me, but occasionaly fear can get the better of me in certain circumstances.

I had it yesterday, my boyfriend and I went hiking, it was very peaceful, and calm, we had a nice talk, laughed lots, got real dirty, I took lots of photos.

Can feel alone in middle of crowd. And my head can feel pretty crowded when alone. So both.

It would consist of being care-free and marveling at what life has got in store for me. This could mean boating with Mariëlle and her family or going to Roísín Murphy with three of my best friends in the world or meeting a lurker here on Org that is a pretty nice guy.

As a kid I saw The Omen and ran upstairs to see if I had some numbers on my temple somewhere. Hehehe. But that ain't what you mean, right?

The tranquility that Jean-Marc Barr's character finds at the end of Le Grand Bleu kind of sparked some recognition.
