Well me and Amy went hiking/rock climbind on Saturday and I did take some pictures. We are hiking along the St. Croix River which borders Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The camera was next to the cold water in my bad hence the fogged lens which made it seem foggy outside lol

These are all similar but nice anyway.

The hike ended near a town where I found something that made me very happy:

Then on the way home we stopped at Amy's folks house to pet Captain Ferg:

Buncha nature freaks on this site huh? lol

Great photos!

( Now in my opinion Lovemachine here reminds me of Rich looks wise. redface)

For the record I love the drive-ins. Me and Amy go all the time. We arrive early and BBQ and usually by the 3rd movie (they play 3 at one of the local theaters) we are in the backseat.

Ferg is a Scottish Fold and I swear I almost fainted when I found out he was a $1,000 cat. I could find a thousand cats in a barn for like 30 cents. lol

But he is really cool cat. Very unique.

The only thing that bugged me about the drive in was that it was WAY to crowded for any backseat stuff. pout

Also, the drive-ins in Minnesota only cost $7. We always get in trouble because they allow you to bring your own food and drink and we overdo it to say the least. You probably shouldn't be eating for every second of 3 movies lol

Okay you meant each. I thought you meant $14 each which seemed high to me. Yeah that $7 is each here as well. Although they always ask if I have someone in the trunk. I mean for the love of God I'm 30 years old big grin

I had a great weekend, hope everyone else did too...

I took a bunch of photos so I figured I'd share.

On Friday night, my boyfriend, Rich, and I went to a drive in... We'd never been to one before so it was very strange for us, but a lot of fun! I thought these places were extinct but I said I wanted to go to one and my honey found a place in upstate New York, about and hour and a half from where I live.

To make matters even stranger the Drive In was located next to a Petting Zoo/ Ice cream joint hmm

And the turkey bit Rich! omg lol

We saw Wedding Crashers (I’d give it a C+, the first half was funny second half was flat.) and The Island (A little "Logan's Run" -ish but still good. I'd give it a generous B-) all for 14 bucks! Regular movie tickets round here cost $9.50 each!

On Saturday we went hiking in Stokes State Forest in the middle of Hicksville NJ... It was so peaceful...

And I love being surrounded by all the green....

And the cool part about this place is that the climate there in some fluke of nature is very similar to that of Canada, so plants and insects that do not usually exist in NJ flourish there.

Like this huge blue butterfly!

On the way back to the car, we stumbled upon this really old graveyard. The earliest date we found on the tombstones was 1807!

This grave freaked us out... couldn't help but wonder just how many there were under there. eek

We had so much fun, we are going to go camping next weekend! woot!

Anyone have any pictures from their weekend they want to share??? batting eyes

great pics, you are beautiful...i like the grave pic.....hug
