Ah, that all powerful appreciation thread. Even those who are “above appreciation” threads and silly topics have a soft spot for them.

It can be argued that democrats spawn many times more appreciation threads than social conservatives and Republicans(it’s true—check the appreciation thread history on the org). But in truth, we are all entitled to equal protection under such threads.

We’ve appreciated Prince, Vanity, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, George Michael, and a whole range of artists and even Jesus himself.

We’ve appreciated each other’s art, as well as those of established artists.

We’ve appreciated everything but that elusive SEARCH FUNCTION—where is that damned thing anyways?

But, my friends—these are dark days. Appreciation threads are so abundant now
that they’ve been depreciating themselves. We must keep our heads up and continue the battle to make these things important parts of our orging experience.

Also, we could stand to do a few more photo opportunities for org attention whores like myself.



MODS: I understand that I cover a lot of ground here (politics, religion, Art community, other artists, related artist, and Prince himself), so I will not be offended if this gets distributed throughout those forums.
