so i went to the shedd aquarium in chicago. had a blast there great place to visit, but damn, i could NOT live in a city like that there are waaaaay to many people there for my tastes, and i had no idea i was that jumpy when put in a city with just big ass buildings
sure made me appreciate my 'simple' life here... how about you ? do you like big cities or smaller, more quiet towns ? One of the best days of my life... http://prince.org/msg/100/291111

The Aquarium is pretty awsome...though it makes me a bit edgy with all that water surrounding me
I'm from Chicago and now live in San Francisco. I am definitely a city boy. Shame you had such a time in Chicago. I am reminded just how long it takes to get around there every time I go back...which is about an hour no matter where you are going. Also the area by the aquarium I'd imagine to be very crowded...even I don't go down around there unless I gotta. Christian Zombie Vampires

I like small towns near big cities. They are the best compromise.
I live in a town about 30 minutes from Chi-town.

simple life no doubt
ever since i left kebob city, kebobiostan, my life has become so complicated, i used to love waking up at 5am, cleaning out goat pen, working all day, well.....watching my 5 wives clean out goat pen, and chopping firewood, then at end of day smoking hookah pipe, watching sun set over the mountains of south kebobistan....I WANT KEBOBISTAN!!!!

Its a shame that u had such a bad experience in Chicago. I love Chicago and I love large cities. I couldnt see myself living in a metropolis of less than a million people. It would be a culture shock for me.

I normally prefer big cities, but not becuase of their size.
A city must have at least a moderate skyline and be at leaste 250+ thousand people. But what I like is the vibe of a city. A fun city. People often kid me about living in Tampa, FL, but I'm not native to this place. I CHOSE to live here becuase it has an infectious upbeat vibe to it. We have a cuban version of the Fench Quarter, multiple amusement parks within an hours drive or less, several world class beaches, georgous temperate weather, blah blah blah. If anything, if Tampa were the size of New York or Chicago, that would actually detract from the allure. I can't imagine 10 million people trying to crame our beaches and littering everywhere. I do , however, wish we had a world class symphony, opera, art scene etc. Except for the Salvador Dali Museam, the Tampabay area has plastic culture.
