B honest, cuz I just finished high school not 2 long ago. I have 2 say I was sort in the middle, but leanin' more 2 the popular side. I had I lot of friends in high school. U know, at least 5 or 6 people, felles- whats up and ladies- hey 2 me in the hallways or whatever, shout my name way down the hall way. A few people would stop at my locker inbetween classes, popular students. I was very common, normal. C+ student U know. Havin' said that I could say I was semi popualar, sort of in the middle. In Middle school I had braces and glasses, bad combination, but I was cool. And U

i didn't really have time to care much about my high school's caste system. i was dating an art school student through my last couple of years of high school, so the kids i wanted to fit in with were all the beatnik art school kids i hung out with after school. jocks and metalheads were small change to me by comparison.

I was a shy guy who kept to myself most of the time. My classmates for the most part were all assholes who treated me like crap. High school was the worst time in my life and I barely survived making it through.

I was hardly ever there, but I guess I was neither. I was popular with the guys, as in they thought I was pretty cool and being good at sports helped I guess, but unpopular with the girls. They thought I was rude, arrogant etc etc.

Same here. I still have the occasional nightmare of having to return to high school I didn't talk much, but when I did talk about the things I liked (like horror films), I got some awkward stares. On top of that, my younger brother got teased because I was gay. I wasn't even out at the time, but it was obvious enough apparently. It still bothers me that he was teased about this, and not me. Most of the time though, I was just very quiet. But I had my music, my books, my movies and my family to keep me sane. Awful time, but I don't really look back at it. I'm glad to be where I am.

I had my own little thing going...most Prince fans do.
I resisted fitting in anywhere, but got along with most people.
Some of my closest friends were the kids that got picked on by everyone else...the homosexuals, the weirdos....
But I also had many "popular" friends...I tried not to be seen with them in public.
