Anxiety

The word ONUS.

It's not an easy word to have hanging around in one's vocabulary. It's one of those words that you use and you wonder if you used it the right way, and even if you did, it's very easy to feel pretentious anyway. "Onus". What the hell?!

Plus there's the whole anus/onus thing. I just had to get that out there into the open because I know everyone was thinking it.

But anyway. When was the last time you used the word ONUS?

It's pronounced ANUS down here. And I use it often--I work with idiots. shrug

My old boss used to say "The onus is on you to....blah blah blah" all the time. She's the only person I've ever heard use it.
