I think if you focus on something enough, in anyway, be it prayer or meditation or visualization.... it will bring that something into your life.

It can work in bad ways too... sometime bad shit happens to us because it's a self fulfilling prophecy.

It's all about opening yourself up to what the world has to offer.

My guess is it can help you focus on your goals and help tune your mind into doing the things you need to to achieve them. But its not magic. You could visualize, say, a blue 3-inch mole growing out of your right thigh for hours every day for 20 years, but that's not gonna happen.

My father used creative visualization when he had brain cancer. He visualized the good cells as some form that destroyed the bad cells in its path. He shrank his tumor, either through the process of the visualization or the meditation that went along with it to center himself. I totally believe in it. And if you do it to focus on your future, then it gives you that centering time to see the steps you need to accomplish your goals.
