 mr deeds showed me this weke how much i will never be able to be with him. after being in mexico scuba-diving for two weeks without so much as a call, he got back saturday. a few unreturned pages later, i caught him on the phone at workm yesterday, and noticed immediatly that he was on drugs (have learned the tone in his voice when he is). mr. deeds, sad as it is for me, will likely never live up to his potential, and i can't spend the rest of my life waiting for him too. it is hasty, but i live for that kind of whim. the best moments of my life have usually been directly corrolated to my "fuck it, i am doing what's best and not going to be afraid" moments. and i know, now we are cross country from one another. You are going to have a blast. I've only been to visit not to stay. When I was getting ready to go to New York, back in 1994 or something like that, my friends told me all the rules. DON'T LOOK UP AT THE BUILDINGS, DON'T TAKE A CAMERA, DON'T DO THIS DON'T DO THAT. PEOPLE ARE RUDE THERE. blah blah blah. I was so pissed because everyone was soooo nice to me. They actually gave me good directions to different places instead of being mean. I didn't get mugged. I mean, I really was scared to go after everyone told me all that stuff.
