so i have a dear friend of mine named ryan who moved to new york and has been trying to get me up there for years. he and his boyfriend chris were hired to come back to midland, texas for a show, and they have pretty much demanded that i go back to new york (specifically brooklyn) with them when they go back next week.

and i would be a fool to say no.

they have a great two bedroom that is a steal at only 1200 a month, and i can easily find a job that would cover 400 a month in rent.

this is an experience i remember fondly and well. prepare to have every little bit of your life changed forever, hopefully for the better. i wouldn't be the person i am now if i hadn't spent six years enjoying every last rotten little crumb of the big apple. enjoy it, do as much as you can as often as possible, take sunrise walks through the east village, have adventures, take a risk or two but don't be too stupid. you're going to have an amazing experience. godspeed.
