Starbucks' Green Tea Frappucino = Crack I know, I know. Starbucks is evil and nobody should ever give them money for anything ever, and I'm going to Hell just for starting this thread.
But DAMN those Green Tea Frappucino thingies are good. I need to figure out how to make this cracktacular treat at home, because this chit's expensive...if anyone else is curious about trying it, be careful. Once you get a taste, you're hooked.

I think I give starbucks way too much money.
Maybe if they'd fire Michelle, I wouldn't go there so much....

The Green Tea Frappucino is the best thing they have! I hope it's not one of their "seasonal" drinks, because I am addicted to them bitches. I have been waiting and waiting for their slow asses to come out with a good green tea drink. I'm an obsessive green tea drinker (2-3 cups a day). The Green Tea Frap tastes like green tea ice cream, almost...goddamn, you've got me craving one RIGHT NOW. It has the green tea mochi flavor...if you have a Teavana near you, get the green tea mochi in a big ass cup. I had it in SF and it was the best damn cup of tea I've ever had in my life. I still salivate thinking of it. I tried the Green Tea Lemonade today and it was good, too. I mean, while you're packing in all the calories of a Starbucks frap you may as well get the Green Tea one, 'cause green tea is so good for you. Goddamn you, Starbucks. And goddamn you, Anx. Now I want one. Again.

I still salivate thinking of it. i wish i DID have a teavana nearby, because that sounds damn good. when i lived in new york, there was a great noodle shop in the west village that had the best green tea desserts - cake and ice cream - and the starbucks frappies taste SO much like those desserts. it's unfair, cuz they've got me hooked. I tried the Green Tea Lemonade today and it was good, too.
maybe if i could keep myself from getting the green tea fraps, i could make myself try one...i've been curious...

I got tired of wasting money on Starbucks and Jamba Juice, and I just quit going.
You always find ways to spend your money. You might as well enjoy if it's worth it to you!

God bless America. Nice cups and comfy sofas and straying further away from the good shit with every fancy shmancy product. Perfect audience for it though.

You might as well enjoy if it's worth it to you! if there were more jamba juices around where i frequent, i'd probably blow lots of cash on them, too. they're yummy. i got one on that 105 degree day last weekend, and it was a lifesaving nectar of the gods.

JEALOUS!!! naw, seriously, i just picked up a pound of roasted yerba mate to combat my green tea frappo addiction - it's better for me, it has the same taste and satisfaction as coffee, and i can keep adding water to the same pot all day and have yerba mate coming out of my ears, so it's very economical. plus it's good without cream and with just a little sweetner, so it's nice and simple. once i get back on the yerba train, it's buh-bye starbucks.

Hey, you, share the wealth with another addict. What is this "roasted yerba mate" you speak of, and how do I get my hands on it?

Now, I think they just serve mocha frappucinos without the coconut shavings. They can, however, add some coconut "flavoring" (ya know, that syrupy stuff).
