PrintableUmm I already thought Johnny was in the "Top Actor" bracket. He's an excellent actor that just doesn't give a fuck. He's in that category with the other greats:

johnny depp has a knack for getting cast in movies that are typically outside the norm. i respect that. he's not my favorite actor going, but there are more worthy targets than him for hollywood hate. | |

Larry Fishburne certainly isn't in that top bracket - he's definitely on a lower rung. Decent actor though, all the same. | |

You people don't get it, do you?
I didn't mean that he always looks the same or even that the characters are written the same way. What I mean is that good actors can make you see only their character when they're acting. They allow themselves to be absorbed by the character, if you will. Johnny Depp just makes you see Johnny Depp, in my opinion. He doesn't achieve that oh so important suspension of disbelief. | |
