Pain that you deserve

Ever hurt yourself and believe deep down that you deserve it?

I'm feeling particularly down today, harboring lots of guilt and stuff.

I just went to put my contacts in, and grabbed the wrong solution. Instead of saline I rinsed my lense with the chemical cleaner and popped it right into my eyeball. For a similar effect, try lighting a match and just sticking it right in your eye. Same thing.

Ay yay yay...

Do you believe you can hurt people without intending to, but still be responsible for the fact that they were hurt, and still possibly have to pay the price for that hurt?

HA. I believe sometimes there cannot be a high enough price to pay for hurting someone else.

Heh. I'm not into "hurting myself."

But, I wish pain on the ex. Every day. Jersey would back me up.

I don't believe in Karma. I think life simply has a way of having good moments and bad ones, and sometimes people get a bad one right when they fucking well deserve it. But it's pure coincidence.

It's not old fashioned, Dutchie.
(sitting there in wooden shoes, questioning my technology)
Anyway, I use ClearCare solution. It's awesome. There's no rubbing involved at all. You put the lenses in this plastic vault and the solution creates a chemical reaction with the metal lining the vault and they come out super clean.
Before you put them in your eye, you rinse them with saline.

Old fashioned shit. That's the shit my brother had 15 years ago. I don't have to rinse mine off. I just take them out and put them in.

Do you have to rub them?
And your brother DID NOT have this shit 15 years ago. I'm not talking about the old things you used to plug in and they heated up and shit.

Oh yes, I believe that. My ex bf is a walking train wreck, he'll unwittingly charm women so they fall in love with him, but he doesn't even notice and then he's broken their hearts before you know it. I so hope he pays for that, he did it to me the first time we hooked up or whatever and then when we'd borken up for good in '02 he did it to a poor girl who'd been in love with him for 10 years. I told him he did but he insisted it was not true. neutral

On the general issue though, I believe that if you recognise you have hurt somebody, then you will feel you deserve some pain back. You can call it karma or not, but I distinctly believe that what goes around comes around.

Heat up? Damn, wtf was that? lol Seriously, my brother has had something like that for 10+ years. The little plastic vault is seethrough so you can see the chemicals creating bubbles and shit. When he takes them out the next day he has to rise them off.
