You know, it's been a crazy day for me between one friends birthday and another friend of mine is in labor as I type this (yay new baby!) and yet throughout the day I've thought of you also. Good to hear eveythings going well!!

[Edited 7/19/05 17:51pm] From what I've heard it's close to impossible to eliminate 100% of a brain tumor through surgery alone. So even though it might feel like a bit of a disappointment to hear about the 90% at first, I think the way you should look at it is that at this stage, with what they could reasonably expect of it, it was a successful operation. Now they have something to sample and, like you said, to draw conclusions about the next stage from. He's still definitely on the road to recovery. And just his improved eyesight alone must feel like a huge relief! Congratulations. | |
