Speaking of kids' magazines, I was a bitch for this one as a lad: I used to love that magazine as a kid too. I remember going to the doctor's office and seeing a bunch of them sitting on the waiting room table. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I only subscribe to Money.
It's the most useful magazine for your money. I forgot, if it counts, I manage to procure copies of Archaeology every month, and my dad gets Smithsonian, so I read those. And I'm also subscribed to the free Sadigh Gallery sales magazine, which comes every month or two. [Edited 7/18/05 17:14pm] Insatiable taught me everything I know about balls.

They had a mini cut out book in one issue with many, many pictures of Tom Cruise. You were supposed to send in your vote for whether you liked his hair like it was in All the Right Moves, or the new longer look he grew out for upcoming release of Legend. I voted for the short 'do!

Maxim is a better magazine me thinks. Playboy started to sound more and more like Young MIss magazine with tits & ass starting around 5 years ago. Maxim is more butch. But me magazine supscriptions are (this is embarassing): 1) Bon Appetite 2) PC Gamer 3) Men's Fitness

But me magazine supscriptions are (this is embarassing): 1) Bon Appetite 2) PC Gamer 3) Men's Fitness I'm being totally honest when I say this too - the main thing I like about both Playboy and Maxim are the articles. Playboy tends to have some pretty good celebrity interviews and Maxim just cracks me up (the humor is rauncy and daring). Sure, the eye candy is great (especially when some top name celebrity sheds their undies in Playboy) but naked/bikini-clad women in a magazine don't really get me all hot and bothered - I need video and bukkake....

Yes, that's why Maxim is better. And yes, the non-pictorial stuff is what makes it better. I consider both softporn. Hell, playboy doesn't even show decent amounts of labia. I don't subscribe to either as I'm really not a huge porn person--I used to work in an adult boutique, so you get used to it.
