I saw FOUR MOVIES today! First was War of the Worlds.....EXCELLENT!...and the ending fit quite logically....FOR ONCE!
Second was Batman Returns.....very good, dark, and pretty much dead on! Third was Fantastic Four.....My grade would be a C+ just for the effort. Fourth was Mr. and Mrs. Smith...entertaining with good chemistry with good wit! Ok Bye! The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them. -- Mark Twain.

saw it on Friday, kinda liked it. Funny enough I don't remember the ending, or the reason why the tripods ceased to exist.....that bothers me now..... I remember it was something similar to the ending of 'Mars Attacks!', only this time it wasn't country-music..... | |

Disagree. I thought the ending was a lame-ass, typical Spielberg "feel good" ending that didn't fit the tone of the film. Plot holes big enough to drive a mack truck through. Second was Batman Returns.....very good, dark, and pretty much dead on! Dude, Batman Returns came out in, like, 1992! As for the NEWEST Batman film, Batman Begins, it kicks all kindsa ass!

War of the Worlds was good for the first 1:53 minutes and the last 3 minutes sucked big time cause the boy should have been dead. How he survived that big blast and found Boston from where he was. [Edited 7/13/05 9:24am] | |

 She'll probably like Mr. and Mrs. Smith a bit better because Ms. Jolie "one-ups" Brad throughout the movie....it was an entertaining movie.
