So many of our friends work at the hospital and they are making sure that he is doing well. Drew also has many doctor clients and they have also been looking out for Drew. All of them are keeping me posted. My cell has never had this much use!
This all has happened so fast! Yesterday was a 14 hour day and it really past quickly! We found out on July 1st and it's all pass in a blink of an eye. I just want him home!! I'm doing fine- it just drives me crazy not having him here. He has requested a doll dress cake. Ya know one of those dress shaped cakes with a Barbie stuck in it? Anyway, I think I'll start on it tonight. I'll go ahead and bake the cakes. It will keep me busy. Socks still got butt like a leather seat... | |

Back from my second visit. He's a little more aware and talking more but still a bit confused. They are going to keep him in ICU tonight and move him tomorrow. He ate 2 bites of vanilla pudding. The nurse asked him what it was and Drew identified it correctly. Other than that he has just been drinking water and juice. They will bring him dinner tonight and hope he can eat something- Drew's a very picky eater, but he may not feel like eating. They will start him walking tomorrow. Hopefully his thinking will be clearer tomorrow. I saw a huge improvement over this morning. I know these things take time. Socks still got butt like a leather seat... | |

I have a friend in KC going through the same thing. He has a great website with a blog and picutres and scans of X-rays and lots of information. i'll see if i can hunt it down and orgnote it for you. I want to show up to that hospital and kick some ass. No not your mother-in-law but the people that don't respect your relationship. What I'll do is send my spirit over and trip one of them. So if you see one of the hate-mongers trip and fall or drop something, IT WAS ME!!!!!
