Did u get them/still got them?

I hit puberty so fucking early. I got sopts when I was 12 and acne by 13 easy. Its not as bad now, but still, it killed my self esteem with girls for a few vital years. Though I still managed to get some at 15 though Some girls will fuck anything though.

So, any tips to get rid of it? Mine isn't too bad now, but, I swear some of the scars will never leave though

Tablets don't work, cream dont work.

And dont mention clearosil (or whatver that advertised crap is called). Only works if u dont have spots. (it prevents them)

I had some acne.

I went to a dermatologist, and he had me use Retin A.

That shit burns the heck out of you, but works miracles.

i started using Black Opal...which is designed for people "of colour" so that's REALLY helped..i no longer wear makeup every day...
im also on a birthcontrol that's partially made for acne control
but i guess u can't use that

As a kid...11...12 had acne till college. It's pretty much cut back. I rarely have anything now...except for that occasional one that doesn't pop or even show up..it just hurts!

I had a puss filled one up my nostril once, looking like a bogey of course. Kids ripped into me for a while on that one. Life was great

A friend of mine got a course of tablets for acne and its done wonders for her. Would need to check what the name of the tablets are though.

If the scars really bother you, try getting laser surgery. I think you can get it on NHS if you have a bad case.

I used it for 6 months when I was 18. That shit (Roacutane) is pure magic. It absolutely changed my life. You have to put up with your face falling off and almost perminant nose bleeds for a few months but the acne NEVER came back (the odd one or two of course but nothing like the shit I had to put up with in Highschool). If you know anyone who suffers with acne tell them to ask for it.

I never had much of a problem. Just a few zits here and there from time to time in my oily T-zone. I still get a few from time to time, but they're always small and never last more than a day once I've popped them.

I started to get acne at 12 and all the other children used it as yet MORE ammo against me. But I get my skin from my mom's side of the family and that skin is very oily and when you're not a teen anymore it dries right out. Then the zits stop and you need to buy mousturizer I'm 20 now, btw. You didn't mention your age.

I didn't really get acne until I was about 18, which I was horried by. I'd always seen those informercials with people saying they didn't get acne until adulthood and it never went away. I took lotsa zinc and that did the trick. Also far less gross than eating oysters, which also works. Moisturize and avoid soap and the rest is cake! Also toothpaste works in a pinch. I got that Jennifer Love Hewitt and it totally works! Who knew she was actually good 4 something?

OMG u r sooo right! I had THE oiliest skin ever as a teen. I would never have dreamed of using Ponds or any other moisturizer. Nothing worked until I got pregnant. Wash face twice daily with an oil free cream cleanser with Salicylic acid in it.
Be extremely careful when exposing ur skin to the sun (b/c of Salicylic acid)
Do NOT pop un-white pimples! I know it is hard, but digging them up causes scarring and potchmarks (potholes on ur face)
Keep hands away from face
Use less hair products (if u use them at all)
Change/wash bed linens often (that helps the ones that show up on the sides of ur face)
For the scars: what can be done depends on skin type and severity of scarring. Lately the quick fix is the microderm abrasion but I can't afford it and u usually have to get several treatments.

My scars have gone away for the most part or they just may not look so bad since the acne went away. Good luck! BTW I am black.

I never had bad skin, even though my skin did get oily a lot back then.

It's simple but I never washed my face with soap and water I just soaked cotton balls in 90% isopropyl alcohol and cleaned my face with that.

It's worth a shot.

When I was a teenager I used to get breakouts, but I haven't had even one zit since I've been on birth control pills.

Never had them...still have a peachskin at 39


Maybe you should try something with Teatree oil in it. It works for all kinds of skin problems.
