the thing is...in my city...it's white suburbia...guys don't fall for the black girls because we're not seen as the norm...
they like the blondes with slinky bodies and no curves....they see me (i'm not FAT fat...im very curvy...a mix of a.keys and beflonce) and think i'm overweight cuz i actually got tits and an ass, glasses...nonwhite features...but whatever

based on society i'm not good looking...

With the right clothes, the right hair, the right makeup, I think I look good. But it takes a LOT of time and energy and work to get to that stage. I've started getting ready two hours in advance to accommodate for things. Is that pathetic? Well, maybe. But I like to know that I look nice. It makes me feel better.

I don't look like anyone, and I think I do stand out, and that makes me happy. I'd rather be called "funky" over "beautiful" any day of the week. However, I still get called "cute" more than anything. Ah whatever.

I'm short, and I have glasses, and I am chubby, but you learn to embrace yourself. It took me my whole life to finally feel good about myself - and now and then I still have twinges of doubt. But this - this feels great.
