Hurricane Emily - I'm ready

Hurricane Emily is heading my way. I live in Harlingen, Texas about 60 miles north of the projected arrival of Hurricane Emily. This morning I finished boarding up my windows. I am so glad that I bought the plywood a few days ago. The lines at the home stores are crazy.

Who has been through a hurricane and can lend some advice? This is my second summer in the Rio Grande Valley part of Texas and my first hurricane.

I am sure there are many orgers who have gone through the Florida hurricanes.

I hate to say it but, I am glad it is not hitting Florida this time!

Let us know how it goes!

JB, what's up? I can't offer any advice. At least you get a warning. I'm in California. It just starts to shake here. Take care man.

If any of you are familiar with CARLOS MENCIA'S comedy. You probably don't want to hear what he has to say about people where hurricanes happen every year? heheee.
