Dontcha just hate it?! I certainly do, and I have about another year left until the car is rightfully mine. I am sooo tempted to pay the rest of the balance owed, but that would mean draining out my savings account, which I don't want to do. So I guess I have to suck it up for another year, but I keep thinking of how nice it would be not to have that payment staring at me in the face every month. I could save it, instead of spending it. Lately this really has been getting on my last nerve!

I own mine....tho it's not a new car....it's not a old one either...

I've only ever purchased old cars that I bought outright. And then I lived without a car for 5 years. My current car only cost me $500 about a year and a half ago. I've since put 1 new battery in (which is my own damn fault cause I leave the lights on so often and drain it down ), 1 new tire and today I had to have new struts put in the back. All in all, only about $500 of work since I bought it.
I really can't imagine putting so much money into a car. I'd rather spend my money on other things.

I'll be making car payments for the rest of my life it seems. I get bored of a car after 2 or 3 years, and want something new.

I've still got about another three and a half years to go on my car. It's a used car, and I like it. I don't like having a car payment, but oh well.

mine is paid off finally after a million years
