i have many films that i love but i dont think i have ever seen a film as perfect as "on the waterfront"....it is almost faultless in my opinion and has the greatest actor of the 20th century at the peak of his powers(before he lost interest in acting) marlon brando and wasnt Lee J. Cobb and rod steiger brilliant in this film as well.great stuff

I love old movies ,Brando was so sexy then.

I just saw this film for the first time a couple of months ago. One of Elia Kazan's best films, and definitely one of Brando's best. Karl Malden was also really stunning in this film, and I wish more people recognized him as one of the more talented actors of his time.

It is a great movie, I also love A Streetcar Named Desire. STELLLLLAAAAA!
