I wouldn't recommend relying soley on PayPal. You really should get a merchant account with someone like authorize.net. Then you would need to find a good hosting package that won't jack you with excessive bandwith fees. From there, just build your site, and place all your protected files and pages in their own subfolder, and secure it with htaccess. There are also many scripts that will help you manage user access to the password protected folder(s). There are even scripts like DreamAccount that can automate this process by processing the payment and instantly granting them access.
