Recent DVD purchases I bought two really great DVD recently and just want to share. I hope that others will as well. Now I haven't actually seen of them becuase I've been renting stuff.
"He Man and Masters Of The Univesrse: The Best Of...". This is a great set that features the five best episodes from the show's two seasons (it ran five times a day and had 130 episodes). It looks great for an old show. The documentaries that discuss the shows on the set and give some detials about the making of the show, the responses from fans and other things are very insightful. A must for fans! "Teen Witch". This movie used to play on late night TV (I think mostly the UPN station) and was a very light hearted teen movie about a girl who finds out she has magical powers. A light movie which was assocaited with the "Teen Wolf" franchaise. "Diary Of A Mad Black Woman" and "Medea's Family Reunion". I got these movies for a bargin ($20 for both after a mail in rebate) and decided to give them a try after watching the Tyler Perry play "I Can Do Bad All By Myself". In the case of that movie, it was mix of gospel songs, harrowing darma, some preaching but also a good dose of laughs from the fearless but naughty maitirach Meada! She is lots of fun and I'm sure I'll enjoy these movies although I rented "Medea's Class Reunion" and was dissapointed by the fact that the reunion was barely mentioned in the story and Meada was barely in it. I thought it was going to be about her past and the people she knew then. Mr. Brown, who is a crazy but lovable character, barely gets to get into it with Medea. I found it kind of dissapointing and hope the one I actually bought is better. I really like "I Can....".

Do they plan on releasing all the episodes at some point? I should have said that....They definately are! And it's not just a wait and see how this sells, it's for sure! I think they are going to space it out by breaking the seasons in half, since they were like 60 or so in a "season". They said Fall 2005 and also plan on having the He-Man/She-ra crossover Christmas special released as well before the holidays but I've read there are some issues getting the She-Ra series (which I would be mildly intersted in buying) out on DVD itself...they are trying though. It's from an apparently British company called BCI. It's all on the this one website called TVShowsonDVD.com, which made "He-Man..." the release of the week, even though "The Nanny", which had been tied up for years and other shows came out this Tuesday.

That's the last thing I purchased too. I looooove Scrubs. I never buy dvds anymore it seems, now that I've been on Netflix for a long time. Though there's a new edition of Cry Baby out this week and I may be picking that up. |

I foo'kin' LOVE "Scrubs" I missed a lot of the episodes after series one which I was really annoyed about but hey, at least I know now where I can watch them all without parting with a penny "..My work is personal, I'm a working person, I put in work, I work with purpose.."

Being that it's been so long since the last season, i wouldn't doubt they'd have enough material for at least another 5 installments. Dave's not crazy, this thing is like a golden cow.
