i am too. i had to overcome a bit of professional envy of j.k.'s accomplishment - she is living every writer's dream and i must admit i kind of wish it were me. except for the bit where she admits to really, really missing her anonymity and privacy. i don't think i'd want to handle that part, personally.

i do think that there are other books on the shelves that compete with rowling's work - her success is due in large part to her talent but also due to some mighty impressive marketing efforts by her publisher.

still it's amazing to see what she's accomplished and i'm dying to find out who the half-blood prince is. imo ron and hermione will hook up, not harry and hermione. if harry hooks up with anyone it'll be ginny, i'm hoping.

i hope the 'major character' who dies isn't one of the weasleys.

I also think there's WAAAAAY more to Dumbledore's relationship with Harry than we know as yet and also that there's way more about Harry's "parents" then we know too...I think both those factors going to be a huge part of where the story goes from here

i'm planning on volunteering at the neighborhoodies booth on sunday (those of you who remember my "anxiety" shirts - they made 'em), so if you're going on sunday and ya see me, say howdy.

Going to see the new Willy Wonka movie with my best friend, hang out in the sun a bit, swim, having some friends over for dinner. . . should be nice, except that my cat also has to have an abdominal ultrasound to find out why she's so sick. Hopefully that won't show anything scary. . .
