Wow that's weird! I woke up this morning thinking that I wanted to go to the Boston Aquarium this weekend! I haven't been since I was maybe 10.

This evening I am attending the Hennepin Ave block party. Every year it kicks off the Mpls Aquatennial, hailed as the 10 best days of summer. I don't know what the aquatennial is supposed to be about really, but it's every year and there's a big party in the streets of Mpls at the beginning, a torchlight parade in the middle and the best fireworks in the midwest to end it all. Tomorrow I haveta go to a family reunion. I'm really not looking forward to it. It's out in the country, an hour or more away and my directions are to take this one highway north, look for county road 19, but don't turn on that one keep going. Once I pass a roadhouse called 'Chico's Place' I'll turn right on the next county road 19.

Sunday I'm gonna see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
