can someone help me I rebooted my comp and its all in this weird safemode lookign thing I don't know how to take it off and I can't see anything this is what the org looks like ...
please help if uknow.

Do you know what your video card is?
You obviously have a connection to the internet, so I wouldn't think it was in safe mode--I believe Win98 disables drivers (Even for modems & Nics) when in safe mode.

If it is not in "Safe mode", then your video card driver may be screwed.

Go to your desktop, right-click, until you get the Display settings dialogue box. It shoud have several tabs. (It's different in Win98 than XP, so I'm reallying on very sketchy memory). See how many colors you've got it configured to. It may be 256 colors, in which case you'll want to configure it for at least 16 bit color.
