48 Hour marathon of "Good Times" starting Saturday! Woohooo!

Florida! James! Crazy ass Waloona! Mike! Thelma.

So, yeah, I know it was pretty depressing that despite all their strategizing, the Evans family could never leave the ghetto.

I mean even Keith as a baller couldn't rescue them. They gave him the kiss of the Evan's luck sad

But despite JJ, my least favorite, I love this show!

I will definitely be watching as TVLand adds the show to their daily line-up by launching a weekend marathon.

I've got my video tapes ready. I hope they start from the very first show.

"Ain't we lucky we got'em. Good Times!" dancing jig

P.S. I think my favorites were: when JJ and his close friends bought that car. Penny's abuse episodes, when JJ got shot, .. can't think of anymore.

remember that one episode where they bring michael's bad-boy friend into their home and he's such a brat that james has to give him the belt?

for the longest time, i thought the kid who played michael's friend was prince. giggle

That was a good one. Yeah that kid did resemble Prince, even the hair.
James is no joke! He scared me. neutral

i also liked the one where thalma thought she was gonna become an africa princess. that one and the one about JJ's junkie girlfriend - that one was such high drama.
