Can't tell you the number of cats we had when I was a child. At one time we had 32 cats!! 6 adult females, all with kittens at the same time.
We also had dogs, hamsters, fish, and a few of these...(Don't know the english name) 
Now we have one cat! The Borg... Partypoopers of the galaxy.. ( Medical Hologram )

oh god, an assload of cats. I honestly can't remember how many, but we've always kept pets around. Whenever our female cat would have kittens we'd end up keeping the ones who couldn't find homes or most of the time we'd keep the males ones. We eventually got her spayed. But I miss having kittens around, seeing them grow into cats is a beautiful thing. 3 hamsters, 3 rabbits, and I'm counting my aunt's dog Roscoe for now, since I'm keeping him for a week. I honestly never really cared for dogs, but I'm starting to become attached to him since he's house trained.
