Ren, you need to tie down your gazebo. I had a BEAUTIFUL wrought iron gazebo. I'd take the canopy down when we were expecting storms. Then came the storm I didn't hear was coming. Blew my gazebo to shreds. I had it all of 6 weeks.

Your back yard looks great! I've tried doing some great things to mine and will get back to it when I'm done with school.

OMG REN! I just looked at the pictures again. You gazebo is ALOT like mine. You have to anchor it down. I thought it was enough to bolt my gazebo into the concrete....it wasn't. Use tie lines and rocks or cinderblock bricks or something.

Ok good to hear.... Although I thought to put it away for the winter.....

I will go get sandbags for corners... Dad and Dex both thought of that.... Good to hear that grounding isn't enough!

We had a very windy spring. It was wind that brought it down, so don't wait until winter if you live in an area that has a lot of windy days.

What you want to do is anchor it down like a tent. It's hard to describe what I mean, but what I mean is run a rope from the top corners and anchor it with the sandbags. Do this to all four corners.
