Weekend was great.


One odd thing though:

Birmingham city centre was closed on Saturday night due to Police having what they called "credible intellegence" of planned terrorism.

Thankfully nothing happened, but for the main entertainment spots to be completely closed (we're talking all of the pubs, restaurants, night-clubs, bus stations, train routes) on a Saturday night is a major disturbance.

My brother lives in Birmingham, so I was a little concerned, of course, thankfully it was all a false alarm.

I wish the people of London had been so lucky this week.

It's kinda shitty being unemployed and broke. All the days of the week melt into each other. I didn't even notice the weekend was over.

Spent the weekend shopping in Barcelona, drinking Sangria and doing um.. other things..

I was a wedding on Saturday, loads of drinks, love and laughter and little kids running around everywhere like headless chickens.

Sunday, hangover till noon, sat in the garden in the sunshine for a hour or so. Walk down to the park, mr whippy, pub for a quick one on the way home, chinese takaway and a movie at home.

Wonderful!!

RED - Spill

It was chill. Saturday, I got to spend some time Saturday morning with a hottie. Too bad he's taken. At least he's happy though. Later we met up with his girl and it was all good. Did some laundry, then chilled with a good friend for Thai food and movies later.

Sunday, I had my pc looked at since it's giving me issues. It's not all resolved yet.

For some reason...Saturday eludes me... oh yes...kindsa chaperoned a kids party that my oldest attended...had a wonderful conversation....then on Sunday had another wonderful chat and then went jetskiing and cleaned my pool.

All in all...not too shabby...just me and the kids all weekend....and nobody got injured or nuffin!

I had a good weekend. Friday nite was chill...a yummy dinner and some poker with a few friends...Saturday I saw Fantastic Four and enjoyed the coolness of our new AC before going to get pissed and listen to some pron-director turned DJ at the bar. Sunday was all about recovery and laying in the AC...

Had a lovely weekend. Its my birthday today (I'm 26) so went shopping for some stuff on Fri night, had a birthday dinner and some drinks on Sat night then relaxed on Sun night with some wine. Its the best weekend I've had in a long time

I feel kind of horrible having a good weekend after the tragedy on Thurs. I bet a lot of people have had an awful weekend.

6 of us went camping in Arapaho National Forest..

I slept outside so that I could gaze at the stars...puts one's worth into perspective.

So much fun.

Friend from Brighton came to stay for the weekend - went to the beach Friday, then stayed in and watched BB in the night.

Sat, both went to see another friend's baby for the first time (even though he's 4 months' old. Oops). Adorable! Then had to rush home as I realised I'd left sausages in the oven for 6 hours. (oops). Then went to a cocktail party/clubbing.

Sun, cooked for friends, sat in and talked rubbish. Love it.

Last night... that would be telling.
