My doctor claims it's natural for women not to have their periods every month. So far I haven't experienced any problems with Seasonale. I haven't really been on it that long though.

The only disadvantage so far is paying $120 everytime you get a prescription rather than $40 every month.

They showed a few commercials for Seasonale, suppose it stops working. It's pretty cool, but I don't fully trust it.

Seasonale...couldn't they have come up with a better name? I would try it. But I'm on prescribed steroids and I've got enough problems going on right now. The monthly period is so outdated. It serves no purpose in the modern world. Why aren't we naturally evolving to a few periods a year?

$120? But doesn't that still make it cheaper than the monthly pill?

3 months supply come in each pack, so really it's about the same price. I was paying about $40 per pack when I was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen.

not 4 personal hygeine!

actually, it's better for both. they're washable, so it ain't like you're gonna be walkin around with a bloody pad all the time--and washable/reusable pads are much better for the environment, not to mention all the money you save from not having to buy pads from the store all the time. once i get the money i'ma order some, not only because of the savings but because store-bought pads tend to be irritating anyways.

check this out. nod

They save SO much money. nod

I use lunapads and the keeper. I like them both. Much more comfy than the disposable alternatives.
