I agree these are a good idea, both the sponge and the pads, but I still can't get my head round washing them out in a public restroom. I hate public restrooms enough as it is...

I'm most afraid of leaking! But yes, public restrooms would be very awkward. I mean, I'd probably stare if someone washed one out in the sink. I need to work on that. neutral

in our western modern society menstration is though of as disgusting

I think it's really up to you ladies if you want to use this stuff, but to me it seems just as weird as washing and reusing a condom, i.e. nothing wrong with it per se, but it just doesn't feel like the kind of product you want to ever see again after it's been used. smile
