And for the record...I think Jackie Chan has more than earned the right to call out Chris Tucker if he feels he's screwing with one of his films.

Because again (for the memory-impared) here's what Chan said about Tucker: "He's still a new actor," Chan, 51, said. "How many movies has he made?" Emphasis on "still a new actor". Basically, you're agreeing with Chan... And Tucker has only been the focus of maybe four films...in the others, his participation has been minimal...not the one in which the movie's success depended upon his performance or presence. I think both you AND Chris Tucker have a LOT to learn about Hollywood...lol

Tucker's been acting for over a decade and this clown comes in here saying "Tucker IS a NEW ACTOR." How DUMB is that? Again, when Jackie gets a hit in the states WITHOUT having an sidekick then YOU can pump Jackie up. But since YOU know SO MUCH about Hollywood, I'm sure you can tell us when Jackie's NEXT BIG AMERICAN HIT WITH HIM AS LEAD IS GONNA BE, true? "But what of black women? . . . You missed the point, Mr. Hollywood. If Jackie has a problem with Tucker, he should go to Tucker and NOT go public with it. That's weak for a man to air his co-workers/partners issues to the public. THAT'S the whole point to ALL I've been saying. Somehow people have turned this into "World Cinema vs America Cinema" and "Jackie's career vs Tucker's career" and it's not about either of these but about discussing issues with one another through proper channels. God help the director who's film is being held up because Tucker insists on being in the editing room before a single frame is ever filmed.

If we're to believe Jackie's version is true you can understand his frustration. On the other hand, Chris is a good comedian and he probably doesn't want a bunch of cornball jokes and sorry cliches these Hollywood-types like to throw in. I know I'd want some say on what makes it into the movie and what doesn't.
