Maybe it will become possible to use remote viewing to "travel" through time and watch the actual events but not participate in them. Then the problem would be to verify what's being seen.

Have you seen this yet?...

It's the 1st movie i've seen where Remote Viewing was a central part of the storyline.

I was expecting them to interview...

yes i believe in time travel, however i don't think that it is possible at this point in time. i also think that if not for time travelers coming to this point in time the world would be much more fxxxed up than it is now, or not here at all.

and i'm glad to hear that there are coast to coast listeners and ed dames fans here. I was starting to think that only those that live in purple bubbles were here. biggrin

He was one of my favorite Art Bell guests because he wasn't on that much.
Always had these dire predictions. None of which I ever saw come true.

Other favorite guests...

Dr. Michio Kaku (http://www.mkaku.org) - one of the world's premiere theoretical physicists
*(excellent BBC video interview: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news...u22apr.ram)

Father Malachi Martin tombstone
(Good Vatican info)

Al Bielek
(supposedly involved in the Philadelphia Experiment and the Montauk Project)

Richard C. Hoagland
(science advisor to Walter Cronkite and former NASA consultant)

James Randi - aka "The Amazing Randi"
(has a standing $1 million challenge to anyone who can prove any paranormal, supernatural or occult event)

He's also had people on like George Carlin, Joe Walsh, Willie Nelson, Dan Aykroyd, Eric Burdon and even Chuck Barris.

Yes but that requires a Streamlink subscription.
$6.95 a month isn't much but I don't really listen that regularly anymore.
Especially when Art left and finally returned just doing Saturday & Sunday nights.
The new host George Noory is cool, but he's just not Art Bell. wink

An XM or Sirius system would just be an overall better investment.

I've been reading this very closely and following up on this (rarely as I take GD as a bunch of erroneous, procrastanatory drivel anyhoo!) and I must say I am gettin' in2 the realms of Titorism.

He particularly mentions a computer date overflow in 2038 in UNIX systems. Now, I am sure that Mr. Jobs' Apple Macs run on a UNIX system... hmmm

My point being is that, I wonder as the Apple Mac is becoming more and more onf a fashion statement for the masses (along with being more for the cultural elite hence the RIDICULOUS prices of even an imac)...

maybe he hates Macs? mac

Time travel is possible with gravitational dialation as at the event horizon in a black hole. Your time slows while all other time away from you goes as normal.

Gravitation affects time.

There is also a theory of a reverse black hole affect which some physics scientists theorize that God used this or it was created from the affect of God creating the Earth, and caused distant starlight to be able to shine on the Earth.

In affect, Adam and Eve were in the event horizon as everything God created in space (planets, stars, galaxies) moved away. Adam and Eve's time progressed slowly while the stars and things in the universe moved away, aging more and more as they moved farther away. Thus making the universe "appear" to be old.

Could this affect be created inside a "time Machine"? Possibly but you'd only move forward in time, not backwards. I believe Einstein came to this conclusion as well. That since the past has already happened, you can't move backwards to it.

The Coast to Coast radio show is the bomb (many times anyway).
I used to listen all the time when Art Bell was still the full time host.
He kept me from falling asleep at the wheel many nights driving home from gigs.

He used to periodically have a guest on, Mike "Madman" Markham.
This guy claimed to have built his own time machine using stolen transformers from the local power company.
On one appearance, he said the machine was completed and he was about to use it.
He was never heard from again. eek

Btw, John Titor has posted on the Time Travel Portal forum: http://timetravelportal.com

An interesting recent take on the subject...

...Primer

This film was made with a budget of around $7000 and won the Grand Jury & Alfred P. Sloan awards at last year's Sundance Film Festival.

Do I believe in time travel?

Well, I turned 26, then went back to age 25, and then turned 26 again. How? By going westward, across time zone boundaries. smile

Seriously, I do recall reading something explaining how time travel, at least into the future, is possible in theory. Basically, you have to be moving at a speed very close to the speed of light, and what happens is that time for you slows down considerably. So when you stop moving, you find that time for everyone else has gone much faster.

Apparently this has something to do with Einstein's theory of relativity. Unfortunately, my knowledge of physics is limited to one year at the high school level, so maybe somebody else can explain it better than I can.
Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position.
