Did anyone in the UK watch this?

I think it's the best thing I've seen this year on TV. I want to go and work with elephants now.

I hope they show this in the US! My BF would LOVE it. He's all about the elephants

I love elephants too and have been lucky enough to see them in the wild. I really would love to work with these little orphans though, who really do grieve when they lose their parents; some losing the will to live completely. It would satisfy my maternal instincts. The keepers have to sleep with them every night for three or four years, and wrap blankets around them to keep them warm. What a fantastic job, if you can cope with the sad times.
