I like both. Baths when I'm alone so I can relax and have... uh...me time.
Showers when I have a lover around. Mmm... *sigh* Damn, this moonchild has been lonely for too long. lol

I like to turn the shower on while taking a bath...

i have a 6 foot clawfoot bathtub

but lately i am really digging our new outdoor shower too

98% of the time.

HOT showers at that - even in the summer.
if the weather is REALLY hot & HUMID, the shower will start hot & stay hot through the soaping & rinsing.. but after that I will make the water "cooler" to cool my body down some for when I come out of the shower..


on those RARE occasions that I have the time (or the desire) to take a bath -
typically a BUBBLE BATH (aaaaahhhhh!) -
I still take a shower before taking the bubble bath
because I DO NOT WANT TO SIT IN MY OWN DIRTY FUNKY WATER.


I have nothing against baths - I simply associate them more with babies
(just thought of that experession "throw the baby out with the bathwater")

I think that if I ever get married & have children, I would try to "wean" them from baths to showers as soon as they could turn on/off the shower faucets..

First a shower to get clean, then a bath to soak in. Unless you shower and scrub first there'll be nasty bits of skin in the bath water
