Reason number 423 of why I cannot understand why I live in this state of mine: South Carolina leads the country in number of hate groups. Yes, we're blowing all the other states away with several KKK, neo-Nazi, and League of the South groups. In fairness to the League of the South, they say they are not a hate group but are merely advocate the succession of Southern states from the union.

Please understand that the VAST majority of people who live in South Carolina are normal, open-minded, hard-working people. But the moron inbred racist scumbag sons of bitches who keep these groups going are giving this state a bad name.

I hate Hate Groups! Maybe I should start my own hate group where we just go around kicking members of real Hate Groups asses. It's worth a thought.

that's not cool, even though I've never experienced any encounters with the KKK or Neo-Nazis *knocks on wood*. But yeah for the most part, everyone here is pretty decent. Hate groups are gonna pretty much be anywhere you go really. My main reason for wanting to leave SC after I finish school is for better career opportunities and an overall environment.

There are haters everywhere but SC is not as racist as people think. Yes, there is still racism and racists but by and large most people are cool. That's why I hate when we get headlines splashed across papers about our hate groups. There are still too many but they are not reflective of SC as a whole.

The Hispanic population has tripled in this state in 10 years and I am loving the diversity trends. My wife is Asian and the Asian population has skyrocketed too. And the Strom Thurmonds of the state are getting older and more inconsequential so by the time my two children are in college, if we're still here, maybe things will be really cool in this state.

LOL, no I really don't wanna give up NY cause I'm definitely a city boy but the real 'sad' truth is that not long after my mothers retirement she purchased a brand new house in Florence and before she could even take up residence she passed away . So now I have a new 3 br house in SC even though I have 2 cover the mortgage (which is cheaper than my 1 br apartment in NY). 4 now I'll just hang on 2 it 'til I decide what I really want 2 do. Maybe after it gains some equity I'll sell it. But I have 2 go down there soon 2 check on things, the last time we were there was the end of April. Life's a bitch
